I was first taught to knit and crochet by my grandmother and after a long hiatus has decided to carry on the ‘family tradition’. A frequent performer of opera, operetta, and musical theatre, I realized that knitting was an excellent way to pass the time while waiting backstage for my cues. Born and raised in Richmond, VA, I now live in New England and am very grateful for my growing collection of comfy handknits that keep me warm through the long winters.

In trying to find a name for my ‘brand’, a couple of friends helped me out. ‘Yarnvark Designs’ was born out of my huge love for all things Aardvark…and yarn!
