I love crafts that involve fabric or yarn. I quilt, sew, crochet, knit and embroider with varying frequencies. I created my first original designs in 1997, spurred by wanting quick projects for charity donations.

I’ve crocheted since grade school and knitted since junior high. I inherited a love of sewing from both grandmothers. I learned to quilt in 1988 and seldom do any other type of sewing now.

I retired in 2005 at the early age of 49. Enjoying life on my own terms, my days are filled with crafting, surfing the Internet and television. I knit and crochet hats for local charities and make many blankets for Project Linus.
