My two daughters, Katharina (29) and Magdalena (37), my pride and joy, have already left home. Now my husband, my two dogs Balu and Happy live in this beautiful house, so I have plenty of room for my yarn.
I love crocheting mosaics and started designing my first pattern for Karoline Plasonig’s Facebook group, she encouraged me to offer this table runner as a Cal. It was so much fun and a real joy to see how my design developed and the many beautiful results in this group encouraged me to continue.
Well, and now I have found a nice addiction & hobby for me again, which has a priceless side effect. It makes me happy when I draw, crochet and design, it helps me to counteract my illness.
Handicraft gives me a lot of strength and not only me. Handicraft is something wonderful! It accompanies you in mourning and happiness. It conveys joie de vivre. It exists in all languages of the world. It connects people!
