I have been creating floral doilies in crochet since I fell in love with lace threads and doilies.
When designing, what I value is the shape of a single thread that can be knitted from the center of the piece to the edges without any interruption.
What I also keep in mind when designing is to create beautiful patterns with careful knitting to bring out the delicacy and softness of the lace threads.
I also sometimes create my designs with the image of engraving patterns like sculptures or stained glass, which is a “sacred beauty” that emerges when you hold it up to the light.
