Teri Bell
I can’t remember learning how to knit, although my Mom tells me I was about four years of age - before I learned how to write!
When I was seven I sewed my first dress.
During college, I put off studying by knitting and sewing constantly and I learned tailoring and made a boyfriend a double-breasted suit coat - hand stitching shape into the lapel.
When my daughter was born I stayed home for a year and for very little profit, I designed patterns and sewed for weddings and christenings and even made a hunting suit for a show dog - complete with hood!
But always, always, I go back to knitting.
