I am a retired midwife, wool gatherer, artist, spinner, knitter, would be weaver and dyer. I live in a soggy but picturesque little village on Dartmoor in Devon with my hubby.

I’ve been designing patterns for myself for years - but not written many of them down - I particularly love traditional knitting, especially fairisle and gansies and anything that is colourful or has twists and turns.
