I’m Violetta, the owner and designer behind Viola crochet.
When I was a little girl, I enjoyed watching my grandmother and mom knitting, I was always amazed and attracted to the way the hooks crossed each other transforming the thread into different things. As I grew older I asked them to teach me, they taught me things that has been in our house for generations and my love for crochet became bigger. Life and commitments didn’t allow me to have enough time for my hobby and my passion.

After my son was born in 2013 I picked up crocheting again. With so many new ideas constantly running through my head I decided to start designing and selling my own patterns so anyone who’s interested can fall in love with crocheting.

With the lessons I received from both my grandmother and mother, also adding modern touch I find my design fun to crochet, and I think others might enjoy them too.

The process of a new design starts in my mind and I directly start crocheting from a basket filled with a wide range of colors.

I crochet, unravel, crochet, unravel and sometimes it workes out from the first time other times it takes me days or weeks.
Meanwhile I write down the pattern in very short scribbling, scrap and rewrite until I find the perfect pattern.

When I am realy satisfied with the result I crochet the pattern step by step taking pictures, work out the discription for a pdf to list it in my shop.
