The Lindal Collection features patterns that focus on short-row knitting techniques to highlight the way color uniquely pools within the shapes of the designs, which are well suited to self-striping yarn and gradient yarns.

Origami knitting utilizes a technique known as a “twisted stitch”. There are a number of video tutorials online for learning this style of knitting. For these designs, I have modified the two-stitch twist to create a triple-twisted stitch to allow for the angle of ridge lines that I enjoy in the patterns. Additionally, there are lifted purl increases.
