This is a phototutorial with chart to crochet a potholder with embroidered flowers.

The designer used 50% wool/50% acrylic yarn for her sample potholder, but for better heat resistance, you might want to use 100% cotton or a cotton/wool blend instead, since acrylic will melt at higher temperatures.

The pattern is written in Russian, but can be easily followed from the photographs and using the chart.
