This fun little plush critter is a great pet to keep around school, the office (and certain husbands) as a fun way to remind those around you that they may not be paying attention. -Smile-

This pattern is almost exclusively garter & stockinette stitch with small I-cord stitches for the ears. Specialty stitches are explained in pattern. The main pelt is worked flat from the nose to the end of the tail. 7 stitches will be picked up and worked flat to knit tummy flap.

Sewing up the critters can be a bit confusing when only in written form. I’ve included plenty of photos of the process so you can see it as well.

Finished project measures about 6 x 5 x 3.5” and sits up unaided.

You will need:

50 Yards Worsted for body,
50-75 Yards Eyelash, Peacock or specialty yarn for tail,
15 Yards Worsted for tummy, (tummy often works nice as the same yarn that you use for the tail instead of a 3rd color),
batting,
a set of 2 @ 10mm safety eyes,
US 7 needles,
darning needle and scissors.
