# 129 Top down Lightweight Pullover
Finally, the basic roll neck pullover in a fingering weight yarn! It won’t take forever to knit either, because the gauge is loose at 24 sts to 4 inches. Knitters all over the world have used this basic as a template for their own design ideas. Shown in a buttery soft sock yarn.
Sizes- x-small, small, medium, large, x-large, 1 x, 2 x.
Finished measurements-
Chest- 30 (34, 38, 42, 46, 50, 54) ins. Length- 26 (26, 26, 26½, 26½, 27, 27) ins.
Materials- fingering weight yarn: approx. 1,200 (1,352; 1,529; 1,686; 1,843; 2,159; 2,381) yds.
29 inch circular needles sizes 5 and 3; 16 inch circular needles sizes 5 and 3; double point needles sizes 5 and 3 or sizes required to get the gauge.
Scrap yarn, stitch markers (4 of 1 color, 1 of a different color), darning needle.
Gauge- using the larger needles in circular stockinette st,
24 sts equal 4 inches.
