Simple to knit winter warmers! Knit in the round on circular and double point needles. The hat is simple, with a rolled or ribbed edge. If you have avoided making and wearing mittens because they feel like boxing gloves, you will like these! They are close fitting to allow for dexterity, and are much warmer than gloves.

Size- women’s medium size:
Hat - 20 inches around.
Mitten- palm 8 inches around.

Materials- worsted weight yarn: 250 yards.
Double point needles size 6;
16 inch circular needle size 6
or size required to get the gauge.

Gauge- in circular stockinette st, 20 sts equal 4 inches.
