A basic stocking to embellish or not as you choose.

Size- 6½ inches wide and 18 inches long.
Materials- worsted weight yarn:
For solid color stocking - approx. 200 yds.
For 2 color stripes, approx. 100 yards of each.
For 3 color stripes, approx. 67 yards of each.
For fur yarn cuff, approx. 50 yards.
For contrast heel & toe, approx. 60 yards.
16 inch circular needle size 7 and double point needles size 7 or size required to get the gauge.
Stitch markers, safety pin.
For duplicate stitch or embroidery, a blunt darning needle.

Gauge- in circular stockinette st, 18 sts equal 4 inches.
