A plain cardigan v neck vest written at 4 stitches to the inch, for heavy worsted weight yarn. Knitted in one piece to the armholes. For a longer vest, knit more length before the armhole bind off.

Chest- 33, 36, 39, 42, 46 ins.
Length- 23 ins.

Materials- medium or heavy worsted weight yarn:
400; 450; 550; 625; 700 yds.
24 inch circular needles size 9 and 7; 16 inch circular needle size 7 or sizes required to get the gauge.

⅝ to ¾ inch buttons (6 to 8).

Gauge- using the larger needles in stockinette st, 16 sts equal 4 inches.
