This PDF pattern will help you crochet your own Big Bow bag. You’ll be able to download the pattern immediately after purchasing.

The pattern is perfect for advanced beginners! The following techniques are used: double crochet, slip stitch (to attach panels) and half double increase and decrease. You’ll be working with a triple strand of yarn.

Progress pictures have been added in to help you on your way. All instructions are in US terminology.

This bag is made up of two panels (front and back), one long strap that’ll also be used to attach the two panels, and a big bow. It can be worn as a tote bag or as a crossbody/messenger bag.

Materials needed:
✧ Yarn: I used 5 skeins of DROPS Air (10 ply / aran / worsted) (220 g, approx. 675 m)
✧ A 5mm crochet hook
✧ A 8mm crochet hook
✧ Scissors
✧ Tapestry needle
✧ Optional: stitch markers
