This is a pattern for a knitted slouchy beanie, worked from the bottom up and in the round, using the Fair-Isle knitting technique.

yarn:
2 Ply Jumper Weight by, Jamieson & Smith
Fingering; 100% Shetland; 125yds (115m)/25g
approx. yarn amounts:
MC (FC 14) - 25g; 125yds (115m)
CC1 (72) - 13g; 65yds (60m)
CC2 (1280) - 15g; 75yds (70m)
needles:
2.75mm (us no 2) circular or DPNs
3.25mm (us no 3) circular, 16in/41cm and DPNs 6in/15cm
gauge:
26 sts x 32 rows = 4in/10cm
measured over stranded stockinette on larger needles
Some knitters work stranded and one-coloured at different gauges. Change needles, as needed, to keep gauge the same throughout.
