The “Little Star” Shoulder bag mosaic crochet, is a simple overlay mosaic crochet worked flat in the round tile or motif worked square by square.
As you can work this square by square, you can easily use this tile for other projects, such as pillowcases, cardigans, rugs, blankets and more.

Gauge:
Gauge is verry important for this pattern, and by changing the weight of the yarn and the crochet hook, you will have a bigger or smaller bag. Remember, different yarns give different gauges and personal tension will make the difference as well:
Light Fingering 28 st in 38 rows = 10cm/ 4”

Hooks:
Depending on yarn choice, 3 mm/ 4.5mm/or 5mm/ crochet hook (Adapt hook to yarn used).

Color A 130gr (approx.)
Color B 65 gr (approx.)
●Tapestry needle, stitch markers .
●Optional: fabric and matching thread for lining, button or magnetic button.

Stitches:

Sc – single crochet
Sst – slip stitch
DC – double crochet
HDC - half double crochet
CH - chain stitch

Size:
depending on yarn and hook choices:
√ Bag: hobbii univers & 3mm crochet hook : WxH: 33x24cm / 35cm at highest point, ex. shoulder straps.

Tile only:

Hobbii univers and 3mm crochet hook: 13x13cm.
Aran weight and 4mm crochet hook: 16x16cm.
