After doing some brioche knitting, I decided to mess around with it and see what I could come up with. I remembered the letter ꙮ, the multiocular O, and thought it had a shape that lent itself well to brioche. So, for anyone who’s ever wanted to knit the letter for many-eyed seraphim, here you are!
Instead of using traditional brioche charting, I used lines on a graph. The pattern is intended for two color brioche: The blue lines are for knit stitches in the MC, and the gaps between are purl stitches in the CC. The red lines are purl stitches in the MC, to help give definition to the “eyes.”
The points where the blue lines converge are brioche decreases, and the parts where more lines emerge are brioche increases. I wouldn’t recommend this pattern to somebody who hasn’t done brioche before; if you have, though, it should be easy enough to figure out as you go.
And of course, if you need any help, feel free to DM me!
