✧ Picnic bag ✧
Perfect little spring/summer project! This gingham print tote can be worn on the shoulder and holds all your picnic essentials.
This PDF pattern includes a detailed explanation on how to crochet the Picnic bag (US terminology), as well as progress pictures and a graph chart. You’ll be able to download the pattern immediately after purchasing.
This pattern is fit for advanced beginners! It’s quite repetitive and uses the following techniques: half double crochet, slip stitch, single crochet, and tapestry crochet. I’ve added links to tutorials explaining all techniques.
Materials:
Yarn: 10 ply / aran / worsted in three colours:
80 g (approx. 120 m) of the dark shade – I chose red

50 g (approx. 75 m) for the light shade – I chose light yellow
A 5 mm crochet hook
Scissors
Tapestry needle to weave in the ends
