This poncho is created by knitting a rectangle then folding in half lengthwise and seaming partway along one
edge leaving a neck opening of about 22’\”/55 cm or desired circumference.

The mosaic edge pattern is worked over a multiple of 12 + 3 stitches so the width can easily be adjusted by
adding or subtracting a multiple of 12 to/from your cast on.

Texture stitches are worked over the main body of the poncho. To accommodate gauge differences between the
mosaic/slip stitch patterns these texture sections are worked on a needle 2 sizes larger.

Mosaic pattern is charted only. Texture sections and slip stitch transition sections are written only. The sample used an I-cord cast on and bind off

For smaller size with no modifications you will need approximately 500 yds of each color

For larger size with no modifications you will need approximately 800 yds of each color.

Because this is a free pattern it has not been test knitted or tech edited. If you encounter any problems or areas of confusion please let me know.
