MATERIALS AND TOOLS

− Textured yarn (eyelash yarn). I use Kamteks Lotus Travka Stretch (70% manufactured fibers - acrylic, 28% manufactured fibers - nylon/polyamide, 2% other; 80 m/50 g) - 3 skeins of the emerald color. Kamteks Lotus Travka Stretch is soft fluffy yarn with a rich colorway. It has silky hair. Thanks to stretchy thread, any item made of this yarn keeps shape and you can brush the hair on it. You can also use Nako Paris yarn or any other fluffy/eyelash yarn that has not very long hair.
− Plied yarn. I use Pehorka Detski Kapriz (60% merino wool, 40% manufactured fibers - microfiber; 225 m/50 g) - 1.25 skein of the emerald color. You can use any plied yarn. It is important to follow this ratio: 1 part of eyelash yarn and 3 parts of plied yarn.

• Stuffing polyester. − 1.5 mm copper wire approx. 1.5 m You can buy this wire in a craft shop, but I suggest buying it in an electronic goods store. There you can buy a 31.5 cord. Before buying the cord, make sure that the wire inside it is whole and does not consist of several thin wires. With a paper knife, remove the insulation. The cable inside consists of three copper wire cords, so having bought just a meter of cord you will have three meters of copper wire.
• White fabric plaster or insulation tape. − 1 pair of toy eyes Size 12-14 mm. If you use different yarn, use different size eyes (choose the size of the eyes depending on the size of the toy).
• Transparent glue (if you want to glue the eyes on instead of sewing them on). − Cotter pin joints If you use Kamteks Lotus Travka yarn: − for arms: four 20-mm discs, two cotter pins 2.5 x 25 mm, and four 9-mm washers; − for legs: four 25-mm discs, two cotter pins 2.5 x 28 mm, and four 9-mm washers; − for head: one 30-mm disc, one 35-mm disc, one cotter pin 2.5 x 28 mm, and two 9-mm washers. If you use a different yarn, choose cotter pin joints according to the size of your toy. − Felt of any color - half an A4 sheet. − Cotton yarn of a matching color. − Nylon thread of a matching color to do sculpting. − Dry pastel paints. − Beads to adorn the wings - about 5-7 g.
