Every 18” best friend needs a hat and mittens to keep warm this winter. This knit pattern is a simple project with US size 0 double pointed needles, and sock weight yarn. It’s a great way to try out that self striping yarn that is so popular right now. A basic understanding of knitting is required. Hat will fit American Girl, Fibercraft, Springfield, Lizzi, Madame Alexander and other similiarly sized 18 inch dolls.
Uses needle US size 0 on the mitts and US sizes 6 and 9 single points on the scarf. Both patterns use sock weight yarn. Mitts are knit in the round, and the scarf is knit back and forth.
