A great way to expand dolly’s wardrobe. This button in the back knit top is knit in all one piece. This knits up very fast and is an easy pattern to follow. Using US size 6 needles, medium weight yarn and finishes with 6 (5/8”) buttons. The picture shown is knit in cotton. Front, back and sleeves are knitted as one piece, and only need underarm seams sewn. Neckline is finished with blanket or buttonhole stitch.

Sweater will fit the cloth bodied 18” dolls like American Girl, Madame Alexander, Springfield, Fibercraft, Gotz, and other similar sized dolls.

Basic knitting know-how is helpful. This pattern is possible for a beginning knitter, who has never done alot of knitting. Directions are easy to follow and include knit, purl, cast on, bind off, K2 tog, ssk, and “make 1” increase.
