This knit sweater is a great way to try working with two colors, without having a full size sweater to work on. Done on US size 7 single pointed needles, it’s easy to see what is happening with the pattern, and great for a beginning knitter to try.

You need to have a basic understanding of knitting to complete this project, but it really is not as hard as it looks.
This cardigan knits up in worsted weight yarn and finishes with 6 buttons. Front and back are knitted as one piece, and only need shoulder seams sewn. Sleeves are knit flat,set in, and have underarm seams.

Sweater will fit American Girl, Madame Alexander, Fibercraft dolls, Springfield, Our Generation, Journey Girls, Lizzi,and others of a simiilar size and build. Matching hat with matching stripes fits 11-1/2” to 12” head circumference.

Matching Hat is included in the pattern. Hat is done in the round, on double pointed size 4 needles.
