Here in the northern climate, hats and scarves are a must where the temp dips below freezing quite frequently. Dolly needs a nice warm hat and matching scarf. Sometimes it’s nice to have several!

This knitting pattern is for a rolled cuff knit hat, and matching scarf. Basic knitting knowledge is needed. This pattern uses cast on, knit, and knit 2 together. There is no purling in this pattern! The hat is done on US size 4 double pointed needles, with worsted weight yarn. A really great way to try knitting in the round. The scarf is done on US size 8 single pointed needles.
It is a very simple pattern to follow, and designed with the beginner in mind. It is so simple that my 9 year old daughter knit the sample for this picture. Fits American Girl, Fibercraft, Madame Alexander, Our Generation, Journey Girls and other 18” dolls with an 11-1/2” to 12” head circumference.
This pattern does not take much yarn and is great for using up those odds and ends leftover from other projects.
