#03 Spinner Dolphin
Pattern description from Knit.1, Spring/Summer 2008: “The acrobatic spinner dolphin, placed at great risk by polluted waters and fishing-gear entanglement, is known for its exceptional intelligence. These air breathing mammals live primarily in the open ocean and, along with their fellow cetaceans (whales and other dolphin species), act, says World Wildlife Foundation, as ‘flagships for the health and well-being of the whole marine ecosystem.”
