Newton’s roomy textured yoke is knit in the round from the bottom up in Cascade Yarns’ Alpaca Lana D’Pro, with a narrow garter rib pattern opening up to a wider garter rib for the body. Sleeves are worked separately in the round before being joined to the body to work the yoke in a melange of textured knit/purl patterns. Short rows are employed to lengthen the back and ensure a good fit at the front neck. The picked-up neckband echoes the narrow garter rib of the lower hem.
