This dress is simply an amazing project. It is done on size US 10.5 needles and uses a 16” circular needle for the entire thing! The skirt is knit first, then the bodice is added right onto the skirt. The neckline added at the end. There are NO seams. You“ll be pleased with the way this one knits up! This pattern features written directions. No chart needed.

You need to know how to knit, purl, bind off, and pick up stitches.-oh I almost forgot-and sew on buttons!

This dress knits up in the new ruffle yarn, with a matching worsted weight yarn. Front and back are knitted as one piece-in the round, up to the armholes. Then back and forth to the neck. Shoulders are knit at the same time. Finally the seamless neck edging is knit onto the neck -front and back separately. 2 buttons finish the shoulders.

Sweaterdress will fit American Girl, Madame Alexander, Our Generation, Journey Girls, Fibercraft, Springfield, Lizzi, and other 18” dolls of a simiilar size and build.

This dress would look great for spring in the wonderful bright colors that are available in the ruffle yarn, with a coordinating top!
