Two colors of yarn are required, one solid and one variegated.

The close-fitting, waist-length top has narrow straps. It’s knit in the solid color with a wide band of the variegated color across the chest. The flared mini skirt is worked in the variegated yarn in a stitch pattern that produces a scalloped lower edge.
