Knitted bag for your project

The new version of 0603 Project Bag is available now!

The new version may look the same as the previous one, but I added a lot of details to make it looks neater than the previous one. It also available in 3 sizes now, perfect for your small and much more bigger projects.

I didn’t remove the previous pattern in download section so you can still work on that if you prefer the previous one. The new version has interactive video links you can click directly if you use the PDF file. Enjoy^^

Introduction
This project bag is worked from bottom to top. Begin by casting on sts using Provisional Cast On, then working back and forth to make the rectangle base. Then put the cast on sts back to the needles, and pick up the sts on both side. The body is worked in the round with the help of Magic Loop Method when starting, this is to make it easier because you have a base on the bottom part of your work. You eventually can let go the Magic Loop Method when your work is long enough. The body has the stripes pattern that you work together while making the body. Finally, the body finished after you make a hole for the drawstring and folding the hem. The drawstring is worked by I-Cord Method. You can change the drawstring to any drawstring cord if you don’t want to make the drawstring.

This project bag has 3 sizes. Size 1 is designed to fit small project like socks or hat. Size 2 for mid-size project, like shawl, or maybe kids clothes. Size 3 for bigger project like adult sweater, blanket, etc. Choose the size you’d like to knit, or just knit it all :smile:

Note! Katun Seruni is a sport weight yarn knitted in 2 strands together for one color in this project, pull the end from the inside and the outside or wind it together before you begin. Or approx. 65 (85) 105 m worsted weight yarn in MC and 35 (45) 55 m worsted weight yarn in CC.

Needles
4.00 mm circular needles 80 cm long, 4.00 mm circular needles 60/40 long (depends on the size you’ll knit), spare needles size lower than 4.00 mm

Scrap yarn & crochet hook for provisional cast on, stitch markers, tape measurement, tapestry needle, scissors, safety pin

Versi baru mungkin terlihat sama dengan versi sebelumnya, namun ada banyak detail yang ditambahkan supaya hasil akhir lebih rapih dibanding versi sebelumnya. Versi baru juga tersedia dalam 3 ukuran, cocok untuk projek kecil sampai yang lebih besar.

Pengenalan
Project bag ini dikerjakan dari bawah ke atas. Mulai dengan casting sts menggunakan metode Provisional Cast On, dirajut bolak-balik (knit on the right side, purl on the wrong side) untuk membuat bagian dasar persegi panjang. Lalu, letakkan kembali sts cast on ke needle dan pick up sts di kedua sisinya. Bagian badan tas dikerjakan secara melingkar dengan bantuan metode Magic Loop pada saat memulai, hal ini untuk mempermudah pengerjaan karena bagian dasar tas dapat menghalangi pekerjaan secara melingkar. Kamu bisa melepaskan metode Magic Loop ketika bagian badan tas sudah cukup panjang. Stripes di bagian tas dikerjakan bersamaan dengan bagian badan. Terakhir, bagian badan selesai setelah kamu membuat lubang untuk tali dan melipat bagian hem. Tali dikerjakan dengan metode I-Cord. Kamu bisa mengganti tali ini dengan tali apapun jika kamu tidak ingin membuatnya.

Catatan! Katun Seruni merupakan benang sport weight yang dirajut 2 helai bersamaan dalam satu warna di projek ini, tarik ujung benang dari dalam dan luar atau gulung terlebih dahulu sebelum memulai. Atau gunakan alternatif benang worsted weight dengan panjang kira-kira 65 (85) 105 m untuk warna utama dan benang worsted weight dengan panjang kira-kira 35 (45) 55 m untuk warna kontras.
