Materials: 9 – 12 ounces of four ply worsted weight yarn. Crochet hook size G, or size to give correct gauge. Six 1 1/4 inch buttons
Gauge: 9 Sc = 3 inches; 10 Rows = 3 inches.
Sizes: Directions are for size Extra Small. Changes for Small, Medium, Large and Extra Large are included.

Design Tip: to eliminate the appearance of paired rows, as in common in crochet, work dc between the dc of previous row rather than in the top of dc of previous row. If you choose to do this, be sure to dc in top of turning ch at end of each row, in order to keep the same number sts per row.
