#09 Green Tweed Two-Piece Suit
A tweed, two-piece suit with a slightly off-center jacket closure. The jacket has crocheted buttons. The skirt has two inverted pleats sewn in the front with a gathered waist at the back and a zipper fastening.
Materials: Botany Soufflé, 1 3/4 oz. ball, 11 (13-15) balls. Boye No. 4 and No. 5 knitting needles. No. 0 steel crochet hook. 1 yd Staflex (interfacing), 4 button molds (1”), 7” skirt zipper, 1 yd 1/2” grosgrain ribbon and China Silk lining material for jacket and skirt pockets.
Gauge: No. 5 needles: 5 sts--1”; 7rows--1”.
Sizes: Directions are for size 12. Changes for sizes 14 and 16 are in parentheses.
