So… here it is… welcome to my #1 procrastination project this year. These little guys are SO quick, easy and addictive to make that- trust me- once you’ve started, you won’t be able to stop. It’ll just be non-stop gnomes. Seriously. They’re ridiculously cute and make me super happy.

They take me about an hour or less to make… which makes them dangerously addictive. They’re also ridiculously simple, only using single crochet, double crochet, slip stitch and double slip stitch.

I also can’t stress enough how these are literally the PERFECT project for stash busting, since there is absolutely no yarn that wouldn’t be suitable. Don’t know what to do with that strange coloured odd 25g ball of yarn you’ve had in your stash for… God knows how long? This is the perfect solution, and choosing different colour and texture pairings turns boring yarn into super fun-to-make and gorgeous little gnomes!

I can’t wait to share this pattern with the world, and I would just absolutely love to see pictures of your gnomes when you make them. And trust me, it will be gnomes, plural. You won’t be able to stop at just one.
