#10 Cabled Turtleneck
Pattern description from Vogue Knitting, Winter 2008/08: “Joan Forgione has a few tricks up these wide sleeves belled with reverse-stockinette gores. The mock-turtleneck tunic to which they’re attached is stitched in an allover multicabled pattern with ‘Extrafine Merino Wool DK’ from Sublime/KFI.”
“Loose-fitting boxy pullover in single cable repeating pattern with stand-up turtleneck and flare sleeve insets. Sized for Small, Medium, Large, X-Large. Shown in size Small on page 75.”
Knitted Measurements:
- Small (Medium, Large, X-Large)
- Bust 39 (43½, 47½, 52)“/99 (110.5, 120.5, 132)cm
- Length 24½ (25, 25½, 26)“/62 (63.5, 65, 66)cm
- Upper Arm 17 (18, 19, 20)“/43 (45.5, 48, 51)cm
Materials:
- 22 (26, 30, 34) 1¾oz/50g balls (each approx 127yd/116m) of Sublime/KFI Extrafine Merino Wool DK (wool) in #3 alabaster
- One pair each sizes 5 and 6 (3.75 and 4mm) needles or size to obtain gauge
- Size 5 (3.75mm) circular needle, 16”/40cm length
- Cable needle
- Stitch markers
Additional Gauge: 35 sts and 34 rows = 4”/10cm over chart 2 pat using larger needles. Take time to check gauges.
Note: A selvage st of k1 is worked at beg and end of every row.
