10. hopscotch blanket
I used only one skein with 6 ounces-170 (grams)/300 yards-(274 meters) each for the main colors, but there are not many ounces (grams) remaining. I returned one ball of each main color but recommend purchasing two.
DESIGN DETAILS
• Knit in strips using a bind-off/pick-up technique, that closely resembles the single crochet, used to join strips. Therefore avoiding having to join the squares.
• Any combination or number of colors can be used
• In the sample each of the five colors was used six times for the background color and six times for the bobbles
• A sixth color is only used for the joining of squares, strips and the outside border
• Makes a special lap robe for an adult
PATTERN DETAILS
• The easy to follow pattern includes:
• The chart I used for the sample and a blank chart to arrange your color combination is included
• Diagrams and full explanations for techniques
• A link for substitute yarn in varied price ranges
