For 2025 Crochet Guild of America the task is to create flying discs to donate to Ronald McDonald House.

I came up with this design to incorporate i-cord into the edge rather than have a folded edge.

My disc, with I-cord encasement, weighs 2.5oz as a finished item.

Materials:
Worsted Weight #4, 3 strands held together
I-cord

Tools:
6.5mm hook
I-cord machine to make I-cord or make it via crochet or knitting.*

I can rec the Tulip I-cord Machine working with worsted weight yarn, what I used in this.
You may need a little extra weight to add to the exit feed of I-cord.
For my I-cord machine I use the Tulip weight and the cheap purple I-cord machines weight to put extra tension on the yarn. This works perfectly for me.
