This is a pattern for a multi-colour rectangle/square to be used to create what you would like: an afghan, a scarf, a bedspread etc.

Stitches include DC shells and DC spike stitches. The spike stitches give either a multi-layer looking fabric or a dense fabric depending on the thickness of the yarn and the hook used.

You choose your yarn and appropriate hook.
