#101 Quick Shawl-Collared Shrug
by SweaterBabe
Sometimes you just need a little something something to cover your shoulders.
Here’s a very stylish solution - a quick knit, shawl-collared shrug! It features a textured, open rib stitch contrasted with a 2x2 ribbed, chic shawl-collar. Ribbed cap sleeves finish the look.
This seamless design begins with the back, which is knit from the bottom up. Then, stitches are picked up around the rest of the edges and the remainder of the shrug is knit in the round.
Short rows are used to give the shawl-collar its great shape and to create the little cap sleeves that finish off the armholes. A great, easy look over sleeveless dresses or slim long-sleeves tops.
Smaller sizes only use 2-3 skeins of yarn!
