SUMMARY: This is a woman’s round-neck, cardigan/jacket with drop-shouldered, long sleeves. It is worked in the round and features a medium snowflake pattern over the majority of the body and sleeves together with smaller bands of stylized geometric patterns. Unlike most Norwegian designs, the patterns run vertically, rather than horizontally, giving this sweater an elongated look. The lower hemline, buttonbands and collar are all self-faced. The buttonbands and neckband are picked-up from the body pieces and worked onwards in the finishing stages. The collar features one of the smaller geometric patterns. The buttonbands are narrow and fastening is done with crocheted loops, applied in the finishing.

The sweater uses four colours: one Main Colour (MC) and three Contrasting Colours (CC1 – CC3).
