Instructions for a baby girl’s fluffy coat with matching bonnet.  I’ve used Peter Pan Precious chunky, which is a lovely yarn to work with. The coat is lovely and soft, lightweight and it is not at all bulky.  A good alternative yarn to use is Sirdar Snowflake chunky.

This is a really quick and very easy pattern to knit, with gorgeous results.  Sizes available are 3-6 months and 6-9 months.

You will need:

3-6 Months Size

150g chunky yarn, 5 buttons, 5 x stitch holders, 1 x pr 6.5mm needles making a tension of 14sts and 20 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.

6-9 Month Size

200g chunky yarn, 5 buttons, 5 x stitch holders, 1 x pr 7mm needles making a tension of 12sts and 18 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.

This pattern has been designed by myself so it is in UK terminology. It does not follow the usual ‘shop bought’ format. There are 5 pages with clear and easy to follow instructions. All my patterns are tested by independent knitters before they are released, so every effort is made so that they come to you error-free.
