Two yarns are required: 100% cotton 8/4 in light and dark lilac and metallic yarn in lilac.

The dress is above-the-knee with a close-fitting bodice, narrow straps, and very full skirt. It’s worked in the dark lilac cotton yarn with a light lilac underskirt. The short jacket is worked in the metallic yarn. It has short sleeves and closes with a snap. Optional buttons may be sewn to the front.
