1:12th and 1:6th scale Noel Sweater
The sweater can be made in 1:12th scale to fit a 5½ to 6-inch/14-15 cm tall male dolls house doll and 1:6th scale to fit a 31 cm/13- inch tall doll (Ken, GI Joe, Pallitoy Action Man, etc). The same pattern is used for both 1:12th and 1:6th scale, only the materials are different (see below for full details).
This was originally released as the 2020 Advent Calendar
The design of the item may look very complex, but in fact has been kept simple. If you do wish to try the Noel Sweater, but are not confident, we have offered a free practice pattern here.
The sweater is knitted flat on two needles and then sewn up, there is some simple shaping, so this should be within the abilities of most knitters from intermediate to experienced alike. The Aran knitting may look complex, but if you follow the pattern exactly as it is written this again should be within the abilities of most knitters.
