Ability Level: Intermediate/Experienced
Set comprises: Body belt, Cable Guernsey, Fatigue cap and Cable Jersey
Materials Required:
Forces Cable Yoke Jersey (c. 1943-5) - 1 pair size 19 (1.00 mm/US size 5/0) knitting needles, 50 metres/56-yards 1-ply yarn, small safety pins or stitch holders.
Forces Cable Guernsey (c.1939-1941) - 1 pair size 19 (1.00 mm/US size 5/0) knitting needles, 50 metres/56-yards 1-ply yarn, small safety pins or stitch holders, cable needle.
Fatigue Cap (c. 1939-1945) - Set of 4 size 19 (1.00 mm/US size 5/0) double-ended knitting needles (instructions are included if you prefer to use two single ended needles), 25 metres/28-yards 1-ply yarn.
Body Belt (c.1939-1945)-Size 19 (1.00 mm/US size 5/0) knitting needles, 25 metres/28-yards 1-ply yarn.
Finished sizes:
Jersey or Guernsey – 6 cm/2½-inches neck to hem, 4 cm/1½-inches across chest, sleeve length 6 cm/2½-inches shoulder to wrist.
Fatigue cap/shoulder scarf – 2.5 cm/1-inch wide, 7.5 cm/3-inches long before folding
Body Belt - 3 cm/1¼-inches wide (as this is ribbed it will stretch), 3 cm/1¼-inches high.
Gauge – This is not important as dolls house dolls vary in size
