Materials required:
Knitted rug - size 16 (1.50 mm/US size 000) knitting needles, 25 metres28 yards each of 3 colours 1-ply yarn, small piece of felt to back rug with, fringing (optional).
Cushion - size 18 (1.25 mm/US size 0000) knitting needles, 12 metres/13 yards each of 2 colours 1-ply yarn, 25 metres/28 yards main colour 1-ply yarn, small amount of stuffing material.
Tea cosy - size 18 (1.25 mm/US size 0000) knitting needles, 25 metres/28 yards yarn (or oddments in assorted colours). Small piece of felt to line tea cosy.
Circular cushion - size 19 (1.00 mm/US size 00000) knitting needles, 25 metres/28 yards yarn main colour, 12 metres/13 yards in each of 3 other colours, crochet hook (optional), small quantity stuffing.
Work bag- size 18 (1.25 mm/US size 0000) knitting needles, 25 metres/28 yards 1-ply yarn in main colour, small amounts 1-ply yarn in 3 contrasting colours, felt for lining bag, 2 small rings for handles.
Approximate finished sizes:
Knitted rug - 3½-inches/9 cm by 2¼-inches/6 cm
Cushion - 1¼-inches/3 cm square
Tea cosy - 1¼-inches/3 cm across base1-inch/2.5 cm tall
Circular cushion - 2-inches/5 cm diameter
Work bag - base1-inch/2.5 cm, 1¼-inches/3 cm tall
