1:12th scale Unisex Fair Isle sweaters
To fit a 5½ to 6-inch/14-15 cm tall dolls house doll.
Ability Level - Experienced. (This is NOT suitable for a first project in miniature knitting.)
NOTE: The SAME pattern and yarn is used for both the male and female sweater, but the knitting needles required are different.
Materials required:
Mans sweater - size 19 (US size/00000/1.00 mm) knitting needles
Ladies sweater - size 21 (0.80 mm) knitting needles
For either size sweater - 55 yards/50 metres 1-ply yarn in main colour, 28 yards/25 metres 1-ply yarn in each of two contrast colours, 2 stitch holders.
Finished size:
Mans sweater - approx 2½-inches/6 cm tall by 1¾-inches/4.5 cm wide
Ladies sweater - approx 2¼-inches/5.5 cm tall by 1½-inches/4 cm wide
Tension (Gauge) – This is not given, as it is not important to the pattern, dolls house dolls like humans vary in size.
