This pattern gives both US and UK terminology.

This pattern is worked top-down and in the round for the dress. A 2.5 mm crochet hook is used for the dress.

The hat uses a 2.0 mm crochet hook, and is made from the crown down in the round.

The English pattern says “2(US) sc (UK) dc in the last st, translates to working an increase of 2 sc (US) or 2 dc (UK) in the next st. The exception is Row 13 (border row) of the dress where it says 2 sc (US) or 2 dc(UK) meaning to work a single sc (US) or dc(UK) in the next 2 stitches.
