My 12 CHRISTMAS HEARTS are inspired by Norwegian craft traditions. I celebrate typical Norwegian motifs: Moose in the sunset, eight-leaved roses, and motifs inspired by traditional knitting patterns.
I offer ideas for six different hearts. They’re knitted according to the charts, but also in reverse colours – attributing six additional variations.

YARN
One heart only requires a small amount of yarn, so this is a perfect project for your yarn leftovers.
One skein of each of the 2 colours will cover all the 12 hearts.
Choose the colors you prefer. I’ve used red and white, which are the main Christmas colours in Norway.
TIP! You might otherwise use yarn of any yardage – but size of the heart will change if you work in a different yardage than specified.
The needle size should be lower than recommended for your yarn, to get a tight knitting, so the stuffing won’t show through the stitches.
