I’m super excited to invite you to the sixth annual Bauble Along! We will be celebrating our love of baubles from November 12 through January 6th. Sign up here!

12 Elegant Days of Baubles Part 3 features four quick and fun baubles perfect for gifting or decorating your own tree. A variety of techniques ensures that you can use this pattern on different types of yarn - from commercial, to hand dyed, to handspun. I knit my samples using Marianated Yarns Quintessa Sparkle, a luscious single ply merino with a hint of silver stellina for added dazzle.

Day 9 is a textured bauble intended to be your swatch project. For best results, it should be worked first. If you find that the row or stitch gauge is off, or you do not like the fabric that is produced, adjust your needle size to knit the remaining bauble covers.
Day 10 sports a sweet lacey motif around its center.
Day 11 is a stranded bauble reminiscent of grandmother’s quilts.
Day 12’s all-over cables are worth all the criss-crossing, I promise!

These bauble covers are designed to fit a 2.63” / 67 mm diameter plastic ornament.

For a few rounds, you will be creating your stitches with the plastic bauble nestled inside the knitted fabric. For your safety, please do not use a glass ornament to create this project!
