Knitted in a lighter weight yarn at 22 sts to 4 inches, this fast knit is sure to be a favorite of new moms. Buttons on one side of the raglan line makes dressing the baby a bit easier, and edges are ribbed. Just the thing for a skein or 2 of yummy hand painted yarn, and 2 cute buttons!

Sizes- 0-3 (6, 12, 18) months.
Finished measurements-
Chest- 19 (22, 24, 26) inches.
Length- 9 (10, 11, 12) inches.

Materials- sport or dk weight yarn:
approx. 225 (265, 367, 452) yds.
16 inch circular needles sizes 5 and 3, double point needles sizes 5 and 3 or sizes required to get the gauge.
Scrap yarn, stitch markers (5 of one color, one that is different).
Blunt darning needle, safety pin, scrap yarn. 3 buttons.

Gauge- using the larger needles in stockinette st,
22 sts equal 4 inches.
The first part of the sweater is knit back and forth in rows, so you might need to use a smaller needle for the purl rows to make your gauge the same as knitting in the round.
