In this tutorial you will find step by step instruction on how to knit a leaves laced doll dress.

The pattern is suitable for beginning and intermediate knitting skills and assumes an understanding of basic stitches and standard knitting terms. You will also need skills for knitting in the round on four knitting needles.

Materials you need:
• wool yarn in weight 50 g (1.8 oz) / 200 m (219 yards) in color you like
• 5 knitting needles in size 3 mm (2,5 US or 11 UK) or circular knitting needle
• 2 knitting needles in size 2,5 mm (2 US or 12 UK)
• yarn needle to hide the ends of the thread
• one button
• crochet hook for making buttonhole

Gauge: 30 stitches and 44 rows = 4’’ (10 cm) in stocking stitch.

Size: The finishing dress fits 13-15 inches doll well. It is approximately 8’’ (20 cm) high; chest girth 11,5’’ (29 cm). You can take another yarn (and knitting needles in a size suitable for the yarn weight) and get another size of your dress.
